Kartik Aaryan’s birthday is celebrated by Anees Bazmee and Tanuja Chandra.

Stars are… While many celebrities and critics prepare their obituaries (Karan Johar, Matt Damon, Jennifer Aniston), there are still a few who have fandoms, enthusiastic crowds, and massive openers. Kartik Aaryan is one of many aspiring actors.

On the occasion of Kartik Aaryan’s birthday, seetageeta.com spoke with two filmmakers who had witnessed his transformation from a middle-class Gwalior lad to an actor. Kartik has distinguished himself and inspired a new generation of Indian performers. What made Kartik succeed in a film industry where lakhs fail?

Kartik is referred to as a “mehnati ladka” by Anees Bazmee (hard working boy).

“After seeing Pyaar Ka Punchnama, I thought Kartik was good.” I’m always looking for new actors, so I asked my staff for his contact information. I complimented him on his work. He remembered. He agreed when I offered him this film. He is always making people laugh. I remember him coming to my office for tea while we were working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to get to know each other and tune.”

Anees considers Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to be a watershed moment in the actor’s career; what he does next will have an impact on his work.

” Kartik works extremely hard,” he says. Post-pandemic films were failing, but Bhool Bhulaiya 2 worked wonders. Everyone knows he’s a good actor, and almost all of his films have been hits, but this one marks a watershed moment.”

Could Anees compare Kartik to Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Anil Kapoor because he has worked with them? “They don’t take their audience or their job for granted, and they put in a lot of effort,” Anees says.

Anees advises the rising star to stay grounded and make wise decisions when it comes to scripts and collaborators. “I don’t think the chair you’re sitting on happened by chance.” It is rightfully yours because you worked hard to earn it. I’ve worked with Akshay and Ajay… and I’ve learned that perseverance is rewarded. Kartik’s focus and groundedness set him apart.

Anees has been following Kartik’s work since his debut film and has called him to offer comments and praise, but did he expect this level of success? Stardom comes after good acting. Stardom cannot be sustained in the absence of talent. He must make the right decisions right now. Character decisions are important in this story. The stories he selects and the people he collaborates with will be crucial. I’ve seen some of the industry’s biggest names make poor decisions at this point in their careers and pay a high price for it. He’s astute, and hopefully won’t let his success get to his head.

Kartik is a sharp and observant performer, according to director Tanuja Chandra. Silver is his only miss in a ten-year career. When asked how she saw Kartik as an actor, she said she saw him when he was young and inexperienced. Did she think he’d become such a famous actor? “I enjoyed working with Kartik because he played a serious and romantic role,” Tanuja says. His acting and gaze were both sweet and genuine. Tanuja hopes he continues to push himself and takes on as many different personas as he can.

Tanuja recalls Kartik as always being enthusiastic and obedient. “He pays attention to detail,” she says. He pays close attention and then acts on what he hears. I had a great time working with him, and so did the viewers of Silva.” Tanuja recalls Kartik being especially attentive on set: “I would play out sections and he would watch and absorb intensely.” He occasionally used my vocal tone.”
